We are a family of five living in Oxford, MS. We’ve pretty much lived in Mississippi our whole life, but we enjoy visiting far off places as well. We love God and try to follow Jesus with all that we are. But sometimes we mess up. But thankfully He’s quite patient with us and still working on us. That’s where the name of our blog came from. Jesus is not yet finished with us.

Blake worked in Youth Ministry for eleven years in two different churches, but in 2008 the family moved to Oxford to join a friend in growing a church plant called The Orchard. It has been pretty awesome even if there are a ton of Rebels here. There are some Bulldogs as well if you keep your eyes open.

Beverly stays busy with homeschooling the kids and teaching exercise classes at the Baptist Healthplex in town. If you’ve ever been to Oxford you have probably seen her running through the streets training for a 10K or half marathon as well.

They have three crazy kids who are the joy to the family. Addie is the oldest and is the mother hen. She is passionate about soccer and reading. And staying up late. And visiting grandparents. Ella is the bucket of energy in the family. She has two volumes: loud and silent. Though she’s usually turned to “loud”. She also enjoys soccer and playing outside with her friends. Rowan is the boy of the family. He loves to be outside and anything that involves throwing a ball, a rock, a stick, or anything else he can pick up.

And the Thompsons are currently in the application/interview process of adopting a child domestically.
